What type of photographer are you?

I am a lifestyle photographer. This means I am less interested in capturing stiff photos of everyone looking at the camera but more interactive, raw photos that display your connection and personality. You can find more about me and my style here.

Where do your sessions take place?

Family sessions take place at an agreed upon outdoor location such as a park or waterfront. Newborn sessions take place in your home. Branding sessions can take place indoors at a local establishment or photography studio or an outdoor location. All options are discussed beforehand. 

Where and what time are newborn sessions? 

Newborn sessions take place in your home between 10:30am-1pm. This is the best time of day for beautiful natural light. My portfolio shows you how I use natural light in your home.

How old does my baby need to be for a newborn sessions?

For lifestyle sessions, their age doesn’t matter. They can be 3 weeks or 3 months old - it’s up to you. The important thing is that you are ready and comfortable for your session.

How long are sessions with you? 

Family and personal branding sessions both last around 45 minutes to 1 hour, capturing a wide variety of photos. Newborn sessions can last up to two hours.

Do you have family mini sessions? 

No, I do not. Mini sessions are not conducive to my style. I like to capture your family authentically, including the little details. This is not possible to do with a mini session. My packages are all inclusive because I have a hard time narrowing down images to give to clients. I prefer to give all images I believe are beautiful and tell each family’s story.

Will I receive the digital files after my session? 

Yes. All sessions include a private online gallery of high-resolution digital images. This gallery can be shared for viewing and all images are downloadable. 

Can I get all the raw images from my session? 

No. I do not share the raw images with any of my clients. You will receive edited colour and black and white versions of the final images. 

Can I order extra prints or albums? 

Yes, there is an option to order prints directly through your online gallery. The lab used for printing is called GTA imaging. Prints are shipped directly to you. As of now, custom albums are not available.
