Hello!

My name is Abbi and I'm the photographer behind La Vie Photography! I'm a mother to three amazing, wild children and wife to the best husband in the world! I love coffee, craft beer and cheesy cop shows! When I'm not taking photos, you will likely find me at the hockey rink, golf course or hanging with our big, crazy extended family (pre covid of course)! Coming from a big family myself, I understand how important and also stressful updating family photos can be! But that's why my goal is to make you and your family feel relaxed and have some fun at your shoot!

My "Why"

I have loved photography for as long as I can remember - but I never saw it as a career until I had my babies! I am always photographing them, almost everyday but sometimes when I am holding them I think to myself "I wish someone was here to capture this". And then I realized that I want to capture these moments for other families! That's why I became a lifestyle photographer. I want to capture the raw, authentic, connection between loved ones. I want my clients to look back at their photos and remember how they felt in that moment in time. Because time goes by too fast and kids grow quickly! It's important to have physical memories to remind us of those times!

My Style

My style of photography is relaxed and authentic. I’m less focused on capturing that stiff photo of everyone looking at the camera but more those loveable moments in between! Session’s with me are laidback, yet meaningful. I want to capture your true self and showcase what makes your family or business unique!
